MODULES is a series of styrofoam objects illuminated by neon lights. The concept is to create a kind of cityscape with several modules seemingly connected and communicating to each other. The installation is accompanied by several photos showing different perspectives and close ups of the modules. If the illuminated objects’ architecture is suggestive of fragility and lightness the photographic presentation shows a converse dramatization. The styrofoam components are parts of packaging material meant to protect technical equipment and gadgetry from damage.

In their negative shape they indicate an accumulation of technoid structures. Although the illuminating neon light is cold and aseptic the objects receive a slight active vibrancy; part of a unidentifiable corporal organism.
